Can body become resistant to botox?

Patient

Q: 3 weeks ago I've got botox treatment due to the hemi facial spasm. The doctor told me that I've got minimum doses at the first time just to see how my body reacts on treatment. I have noticed a very small improvement but my muscles are still tight. My doctor scheduled the next appointment in May and informed me that I cannot get second dose earlier because my body will become resistant for botox and it will not help in the future. What is your opinion about it?
