Can body-to-body rewarming be used to treat hypothermia?

Patient

Q: Can body-to-body rewarming be used to treat hypothermia as a last resort? All the arguments I've heard against it assume you have adequate supplies for alternate treatment methods, but if you literally didn't, and it appeared they might freeze to death anyway, would you have alot to lose by at least trying?
