Can i combine two antibiotics at the same time? Co-amoxiclav vs Clindamycin

Patient : I have an infection called dentoalveolar abscess, i was prescribed Co-amoxiclav 625mg by my dentist to be taken 3 times a day. I went to ENT doctor after two days since my throat hurts badly, he prescribed clindamycin 300mg to be taken 3 times a day. Should i continue with co-amoxiclav or switch to clindamycin,can i combine the two? Which is a better antibiotic?
Symptoms:  Swollen left throat, toothache, earache
