Question:

Can I use Amoxicillin for Urinary tract infection

Dear Ask The Doctor:
Can i use amox tr-k cl to treat a urinary tract infection

Answer:

Amox TR-K CLV (amoxicillin and clavulinic acid) can certainly be used in the treatment of a urinary tract infection. These drugs are mainly used in antibiotic resistant cases of UTIs caused by certain strains of E. coli bacteria. If your symptoms don't improve after using amox, I would suggest that you see your doctor, take care.
