Can jaw pain/puffiness be a side effect of a TIA ?

Q: My husband has a history of TIA strokes (had one "real stroke" before, too.) He had one on Saturday that lasted quite a while...medics came, he was stable and it resolved after they left. The next morning, his upper right jaw hurt and it's puffy...we did have a storm roll through so I suppose it could be sinuses...but my question is, could a puffy jaw/jaw pain/tenderness be a side effect of a TIA? He said he had this before and it was about a week prior to his "real stroke" and in hindsight he was having TIA-like symptoms.

Symptoms:  Puffy face, right top jaw tender
