Patient : Can my 3 month old be teething. All other symptoms seem normal but he won't stop crying and when I rub his gum he settles a bit and begins chewing my finger. He started drueling a week ago
Doctor :   Thank you for writing to us. The first teeth usually appear at 6 months of age. But it is possible at an early age an d some children are born with teeth. Anyway, the phase is temporary and their is not much to worry about. Please see a Doctor if the child's behavior continues to remain changed. Hope this helps you.
