Can You Get Sexually Transmitted Infections From a Handjob?

Patient: Can a person get an STI from a handjob?

Doctor: Only a hand job without involvement of the saliva or mouth, may not pose any risk of acquiring the STI’s. However if sal aliva is used there may be a rare chance of the transmission of the HPV or herpes infection. A pure handjob should not lead to any STI.
