Can zinc toxicity affect pregnancy tests

Q: I have taken 4 pregnancy tests over the last month. My last period was very light, but I assumed after a negative test that it was because my Depo Provera shot was supposed to be worn off early that month so I still had a few hormones affecting my period. I THINK i had zinc toxicity, and I'm going to the doctor to confirm. I stopped taking the zinc supplements and my multivitamin and the nausea went away for 2 weeks, then it came back right around when I was supposed to get my next period, I'm now 2 weeks late and still nauseous with really itchy breasts and stomach, and tender nipples which happened when I was pregnant before. (I haven't had breast tenderness in a period since I terminated my pregnancy 5 months ago.) I took 2-3 more tests, the last one on feb 9th, all negative. Could the zinc cause a test to be unable to read OR cause all these symptoms?

Symptoms:  Possible zinc toxicity
late period
reoccurring nausea
itchy, tender nipples and breasts
negative pregnancy tests
