Can’t do high pitch voice, because of mucus?

Patient: Three weeks ago I got colds in my nose and throat. It’s almost gone now but since then I can barely talk or shout/woo in a high pitch voice. Is it because of excess mucus in my throat or could it be because of puberty? (Just turned 15)

Symptoms: phlegm, colds
