Can't swollow

Q: My 5 year old daughter has always had an issue with chewing food. Well as she got older we thought that it would get better but instead it has got to the point to where she panic's if she can't swollow it to get it down quick enough. She chews up the food forever so I know its not where she isn't chewing well ...its almost like she doesn't have enough room in throat to swollaw. Instead of getting better as she gets older -- it is getting worse. Even to the point that now she has to open her mouth to almost a yawn state after she gets food down to help push it on down. What could the problem be?
