Cardio Artery Blocks

Patient

Q: My dad was recently diagnosed with block in his right ascending artery. He had 2 blocks there and another at the circumflex artery. They did angioplasty first for the ascending artery . Later after a month they did for circumflex too. What I do not understand is that first they told the circumflex artery is a minor block 50% (fats) . Then after a month they said its 100% block. So is it possible for blocks to flare from 50% to 100% in one month? If that is so, what is the progression time frame for plagues? I am worried myself since I believe I carry the genes too and I am 35 years old.
