Chemical Plant

Patient

Q: My dad worked a chemical plant when I was just a baby. There was a Chemical Spill and he breathed a lot in. He is still living-a doctor told him he couldn't promise he would live past 11 years. I am now going on 19 and he is still living. BUT, he's been so sick all throughout my life, in bed, not able to work and i have a really important question: When he drink alcohol, does that make it worse? I've been telling my family i don't think it helps, but they say it helps his pain...won't it hurt him in the long run?
