Chest Pain-ribs

Patient

Q: Have chest pain and I am pretty sure that it is costochondral. The joints around my breast bone feel like they need to pop. As I bend backwards, they pop and pain is relieved for about 60 seconds, then pain is back. My healthcare provider told me last week that she thought that I may have pulled the Pectoralis but it does not feel like muscular pain, it feels only joint pain. I have been like this for 3 weeks so far with no rehabilitation. I am unsure what my next step should be. Should I go back to my healthcare provider or shall I give it more time. Also, there is no injury associated with this episode.
