Patient :Do I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
I've seen a doctor with no real results, been tested for everything and everything has come back normal. I'm 15 years old with no serious medical problems, I wake up experiencing extreme fatigue. Every day I wake up feeling as if I just ran a marathon and most days I don't get much sleep at all since my sleep pattern is all out of whack. I have a hard time wanting to wake up or get out of bed and my future doesn't look so bright for me at the moment which triggers my depression. I'm always tired/fatigued all day long. I have sore muscles and joints but no swelling. I have the occasional headache every now and then, I have suffered bad migraines in the past though and because of them I can't really seem to focus or concentrate either. Every morning I wake up and feel like I had a very un-refreshing sleep and just have a general feeling of malaise. Occasionally I have dizzy spells and off balance. This has a big impact on my life just as much as it has an impact on my mental health. I think it would give me some comfort knowing that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome just so I can get the help I need.
