Q: Chronic Pain after inguinal hernia repair

Doctor

A:   Hello,
Thanks for the query.

There could be a possibility of a wound infection, underlying inflammation or even a urinary tract infection following the surgery.
Kindly consult a surgeon for an examination and also for routine investigations like blood and urine tests to rule out the causes.
You will have to drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous physical activity.A course of antibiotics and painkillers or antispasmodics may be needed.

Hope this helped.
Regards
