Cold antibody reaction

Patient

Q: Over 25 ears ago I was diagnosed with cold antibodies in my blood. I was told there was not much I could do just be careful not to get chilled if fighting a virus. Over the years if I did get chilled I had to get into a very hot bath to raise my temperature since it drops drasticly to around 96f. then cover with heating pads and quilts to stop the shaking and bring up my temp. Yesterday for the fisrt time in a long time I had a reoccurance except this time I developed a painful rash on my legs and arms with intense swelling and severe knee pain with a temp. of 104.6 Could the two be related and is there any new information on dealing with cold antibodies?
