Patient : I was put on plavix following a TIA this past June.. I also take Asaphen (ASA), metoprolol, niaspan, lipitor and flomax., all but the latter following a heart attack and triple bypass 3 years ago. Is it dangerous to take both the Asa and plavix, or should I eliminate the asa? I don't want to have a hemmorhage. Thanks.
