Patient :Hello. I have a question about conception dates. I am 14 weeks pregnant and have been told from the ultrasound tech that my conception date was around the 15th of December. I had intercourse with two different partners, #1 on the 6th of December and #2 on the 13th. I was told and have heard that conception dates from ultrasounds can be off by a week or so. The thing is, I realized I was making a mistake with #2 and made him stop within about a minute or two. #1, though, finished and pulled out. I have heard that sperm can stay in the system for up to 5 days. My last menstrual period ended right before the 4th of December, and only lasted about 3-4 days as usual. I don't know the exact dates, I just know it was around then. It would make more sense to me for #1 to be the father, seeing as #2 didn't even finish. Both partners would have had to have gotten me pregnant via precum, but like I said... it would make more sense to be #1. I cannot afford a prenatal non-invasive test, but I am hoping by any small chance it will be #1. What do you think? Is there any way to tell since they were within the same week?
