Patient : Hi. I am taking metformin for my PCOS for a month now and I took clomid for five days starting july 8 then July 19 i had ultrasound and blood test. According to lab tests, I did not ovulate according to my OB. However, on July 29, I had brown discharge for three days. On August 2, I talked to my doctor and I was instructed to take provera to start my menstruation and start a new cycle of Clomid. The next day, my breasts become very sore. So decided not to take the provera yet, hoping that my period is coming soon. But until now, for more than a week my breasts still feel sore especially around the nipples and heavy especially in the morning and sometimes I get white discharge. I've never experienced these before. I took the home pregnancy test and came out negative. Could I be pregnant even if I was told I did not ovulate? I am so confused and I am hesitant to take provera. Please advise.
