Could a car accident be messing with my birth control

Patient

Q: Could a car accident be messing with my birth control nexaplon? I was in a car accident about a month ago. I had my monthly every month before the accident and now nothing. My husband and I dont use protection because I'm on birth control (stupid, I know, moving on) and I never thought anything about it until now. Why am I late? Could nexaplon have failed or did my body hit a reset button? The accident wasn't too bad but it was bad enough my air bags did deploy. I've checked and my birth control seems intact. Albeit, a little moved from where it was implanted. So whats the deal?

Symptoms:  Nausea, heartburn, abdominal pain, frequent head aches and sore, heavy breasts.
