Could chlamydia survive on a vibrator for 36-48 hours?

Patient

Q: My gf and I used her roommates vibrator while she was out of town. She returned to inform us she had gotten a call that she had chlamydia that was given to her by her ex. She hadn't used the vibrator for 2 days before my gf used it. My understanding is that the bacteria does when it is not in the correct internal environment. Is there any chance at all my gf could have contracted it. If so is there any chance I could go to a doctor and have home prescribe zpack if I explain the situation? She still lives with her mom who refuses to let her go to the doctor alone.
