Could I have COPD

Patient

Q: I am a 27 yr. old female. I have asthma and I'm a smoker (i try every few mos. to quit without success) about every 4 to 6months I get a severe respiratory infection or bronchitis that can take me anywhere from 2 to 4wks to get over, this has been going on for well over 10 yrs. My symptoms are large quanities of mucus, wheezing, shortness of breath, runny nose, pain when breathing, coughing spasms that then contribute to stress incontinence, I have the feeling of a weight sitting on my chest. Antibiotics don't seem to shorten my illness either. I get so sick and it last for so long that I get depressed. It makes it really hard to preform my daily activities due to the coughing which leaves me exhausted. Could I have COPD?? This illness is taking away several months out of each yr of my life and making me miserable. Help!
