Cracking Bones

Patient

Q: Hello Doctor,
I have my eight year old daughter who since two years cracks for several times a day her hands, feet, legs, neck, waist, shoulders, face - around the mouth, every possible bone she has. I am telling her to stop it, I am worried if what shes doing may affect her in few years severely. I spoke to her doctor and it didn't gave any concern. I assume that it may be not important, still I do worry, and would like to know that nothing will happen to her in few years. Please take notice that some times now she doesn't need to crack her hands, if she just tries to reach something her hand, will crack itself!
Thank you so much, Myriam .
