Crestor and pregnancy: contraindications

Patient : I have been on Crestor 20mg for 4 years, before that i was on Lipitor 10mg and Zeita 10 mg together, now i am 34 years old and planning to get pregnant, my question is how long should i stop taking Crestor before getting pregnant?
Doctor :   Crestor is contrindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Thus you need to stop taking it during and just before pregnan cy and also during lactation. All the best.
