Patient : Dear Doctors,
I had a medical checkup for the last 3months (urine test, ultrasound) due to burning pain after urinating and even after ejaculating. Initially, I was asked to do specific urine tests before giving me antibiotics for possible bacterial infection. After few weeks, I returned for the result and it was negative of any infection. Still I feel pain after urinating. I was then referred to the urologist. The urologist ordered me to do another urine test and ultrasound to see if there is any visible lumps or malformation inside my bladder. Again it was clear. But still the pain is there. I was given medication the second time. THis month, Im on my 4th month, and I am still feeling pain after urinating. I asked my doctor to see further. He gave me an appointment to the hospital to undergo cystoscopy. I was just worried... What would be the side effects of this operation? will i be able to hold on my urine again normally? What should I expect before and after my operation? what preparations should I do that doctors might forgot to tell? Hope you could help me. More power
