Daughter constantly itching

Patient

Q: My 8 year old daughter is constantly itching. She has had this problem for over 2 years now (probably longer, it just got worse around when she turned 6). She's never had any visible rash. When brought to the doctor, he said it was an allergy. I find it hard to take pictures of her because she'll be smiling, but will suddenly reach down and itch her ankle, or elbow, foot, arm, forehead, you name it. She itches everywhere. When she is in grass its unbearable, so she avoids it. She cant wear a shirt to bed because it increases the itch. Ive changed her diet, and bought laundry detergent and soap free of perfumes and dyes (which weve been using for a year now). Im stumped.
