Denial of Service By My Doctor

Patient

Q: Can my family care provider deny me service?

Doctor

A:   As a Family Physicain myself, we are bound by a strict code of ethics and sense of public service that discourages us from discriminating or screening patients.  However in order to provide good service, a mutual trust is requried.  If either the doctor or patient did not feel a level of trust was present or had been eroded - It would be justifiable to terminate the patient physician relationship.
I hope that answers your question.
