Diabetic n Conception

Patient

Q: I am Type 2 diabetic and PCOS suspicious and on Insulin and Metformin for diabetes and on Contraceptives for 3 months for PCOS. I am on the 3rd month of contraceptives use. In april after I get my menstrual cycle I am supposed to take CLOMIPHENE CITRATE and try for conception. My HBA1C test in Dec 2011 was 6.5. Was little out of the strict routine and if in case my current HBA1C is above 7 , Should I avoid trying conception and wait till my HBA1C is below 7 or do you have any suggestion?
