Patient :I knelt down cleaning floors at work and heard a popping in my knee, immediate pain. Now the area is numb, and I cannot apply ANY pressure to the cap. It pops when I try to do a meniscus tear test, but so does my other knee (they have always popped.) I can walk on it just fine, it only aches after a day of walking on it. There is a soft spot on my knee cap, it feels different than the other.
Symptoms: Pain to touch on knee cap, numbness, popping.
