Patient : For the past several years, I have been struggling with keeping my attention in class and while doing school work. I constantly doodle in class and sometimes find it difficult to focus on what the teacher or professor is saying. The same problem occurs whenever I am doing my school work. I find it extremely difficult to get motivated to do any of my school work and cannot focus on it for long periods of time. I also feel like I have no energy and caffeine won't help this problem. This has severely tanked my grades in the past few years and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to learn and study now that I am in college. Is this a medical problem or do I just need to find ways to get motivated or have more energy?
