Patient :Hi, I have received my MMR vaccine as a small child, and received a booster for it when I was around 17 (I was born in 1984). There have been recent cases of measles - one even happened on the train I take. Do I need to get another booster - or is my vaccine still effective? I have a ten month old who is too young for the MMR vaccine, so I want to make sure he is protected.
Thanks for your help.
