Patient :I went to a party 1 week ago and had gotten very drunk. I don't remember having sex, but I know I did. I've been having really bad cramps lately. I got my period 4 days early, but it's different. It's thicker and darker than normal and I've never had cramps like this before. I've also been super tired, super moody, and super hungry- Even before my period, much earlier than normal. what can this mean?

If you have had your menses this week then it is sure that you have not become pregnant because of your sexual encounter 1 week back.
Secondly the symptoms which you have been experiencing since few days before menses can be safely attributed to premenstrual syndrome or PMS.
Its a syndrome complex which mimics the symptoms of pregnancy like mood swings, breast heaviness, nausea, distaste, hunger cramps and even dysmenorrhoea. PMS characteristically starts few days before the onset of menses and subside once the menses resume.
I hope i have answered your query,
wishing you good health .
