Patient : Please help explain MRI results
The conus appears unremarkable.
There is evidence of degenerative disk disease at L5 S1. There is loss of the normal T2 hyperintense disk signal.
T11 12 Disk Bulge. Anterior canal narrowing.
L4 5 Disk Bulge. Bilateral Neural foraminal narrowing.
L5 S1 Mild Degenerative Disease. There is broad based posterior disk protusion The is subtle increased T2 signal in this region and it could reflect annular tear. There is right neural foraminal narrowing.
I also have severe pain underneath my left shoulderblade close to my bra strap. They did not check that. Could that have anything to do with all this?
