Eating disorder due to synthetic marijuana

Patient

Q: My fiance was previously very addicted to spice (synthetic marijuana). When on it he could not eat, at all and threw up every day for no reason. He has now not smoked it in about 4 months. But his body will not let him eat still. Unless he smokes marijuana, of course. That is the only way he can eat without being sick. Is there anything else he can do besides that? I am very against marijuana and would love if he could find a safer, cheaper way to eat and be healthy.
