Patient: My brother has been suffering from a type of dermatitis in the soles of his hands and feet for some years now. the doctor diagnosed eczema and prescribed an anti fungal cream. he used it for about a month, and on the next visit he was given another cream which was stronger since this one was not working. the new one worked, then the doctor shifted back to the first cream saying that the treatment should be done this way. but then unfortunately, the disease started appearing again.my question is: irrespective of the disease, did the doctor do the right job by shifting medication although the new one worked?antibiotics do not work in this way.i really need your help.thank you.
