Patient : I'm not sure this was the correct category, but there really wasn't a good one for my question, it deals with urology i think, but not sure. my husband just had a semen sample done for our fertility doctor. she just called me that it came back with good motility and count, but there was an elevated germ cell count. she scheduled us in with a urologist. unfortunately, we cannot get in to him until weeks from now. i've tried to do some searching on the web, but i'm not getting much that comes up for this and our fertility doctor said she has no idea, that it's not her area of expertise. Can you tell me what this could potentially mean, what could cause this? I'd just like to be a little educated on the possibilities.
