Enlarged vessel in vagina

Patient

Q: What does it mean if my doctor told me I have an enlarged vessel in my vagina while performing a papsmear? What could have caused this? I have also tested positive for HPV and have been told my cervix is severely damaged and have precancerous cells

Doctor

A:   Enlarged blood vessels in vagina can be seen during pregnancy and after termination of pregnancy, or usage of some drugs. Since you are positive for HPV and have precancerous cells, you must actively be treated as per the stage of precancerous condition. Proper treatment, helps avoiding cancers and other complications.
