Erection “problem”

Patient: I have an important question that’s been on my mind lately and now it’s bugging me. Whenever I have an erection, my penis bends downward. It doesn’t hurt and it’s never really bugged me. But, only recently did I realize that a penis isn’t supposed to bend like that. I looked for what to do online, but I found that if I want to change it, I need surgery. I don’t want to talk about it with my parents, and I don’t want surgery especially since we wouldn’t be able to afford it. I’ve once had surgery on my penis when I was in infant due to infection, and I don’t want to go through that again. My questions are “Is having this problem really a bad thing?” and “Do I really need surgery or are there simple, more natural methods for treating this?”
