Extreme constant knee aching any information please!
Patient :I was wondering why my knees hurt. I'm a 21 years old, healthy weight, active but not overly active female who has had knee aching in both my knees for around 6 years now. I was always told they were growing pains but now that i'm 21 the doctors are ruling that out. ive been to multiple drs, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and they are all baffled. The pain comes and goes randomly, i have full range of movement, and nothing in particular makes them ache except drinking alcohol sometimes. Nothing relieves the aching when it happens though (heat, ice, alleve, oxycodone, cortisone shots, elevation, taping, physical therapy, rest) those are just some of the methods ive tried for the past years. I've gotten many many blood test, mri, xrays, evaluations but everything comes back normal. I'm looking for anyone who can offer any information about what this could possibly be and how to manage it. I suffer almost constant pain.
Symptoms: aching in both knees randomly, comes and goes, no relief, no swelling, no loss of range of motion, sometimes popping noise, both knees don't always ache at the same time.
