Feeling more hungry than usual.

Patient: I’ve been feeling more hungrier than usual for the past month or so. Not sure why.

 

 

Symptoms: Main Symptom: Increased Hunger for about a month.
Other Symptom: Cold Stomach for about a few days.

 

 

Doctor: Thank you for your question. Increased hunger could be symptom that your blood sugar is being poorly regulated. This is one of the early symptoms of diabetes. Other symptoms include increased thirst, and increased frequency in urination. We recommend that you have your doctor perform a thorough evaluation for diabetes to determine if you are suffering from impaired glucose tolerance or diabetes. This is done by giving a blood test to measure your blood sugar as well as how well your blood sugars were being regulated over the last three months.
