Feeling weak after eating, but not Diabetes.


Q: Hello. My name is Stephanie and I'm 21. I have had a problem that has been happening for about 2 years now and I don't feel like my Doctor is helping me. I'll just mention 2 years ago I suffered from Anxiety but after a few therapy sessions I soon put that behind me. I do still worry quite a bit but nothing like I used to. Soon after that went away I started to feel strange after I'd eaten. At first I thought it was maybe slight dehydration but I started drinking more liquids and it didn't help. It would start about 5-10 mins after my last mouthful of food, I have a burning sensation in my chest, but only slightly. Then I feel starving, like I havn't eaten at all. After about 10-15 mins of that I begin to feel incredibly weak, and have the shakes. I pee loads during this feeling too and sometimes if I don't eat again I feel like I'm going to pass out. My vision goes blurry too. My doctor did a pee test and said I had sugar in it. I think had a fasting blood test and it showed NOTHING. (I was almost possitive it would show diabetes because my symptoms match Hyper-glycemia) He left it at that. But it still didn't go away so he then told me he thinks I have an 'Anxious Stomach' and if I eat too much at once it panics and puts so much energy into digesting it that it makes me feel weak. I personally feel really strongly that it cannot just be that. Why did I have sugar in my pee then? Could I have Hyper-glycemia without being Diabetic? It's making me miserable because I want to lose weight but I feel starving, minuets after eating a big meal. All I think about is making this feeling go away. When it's at it's worst I could lay on the sofa for hours with my eyes closed, not moving but It doesn't let me sleep, I just go into like this world of my own and get a headache too. It ruins my job becuase I feel like I'm going to colapse. I don't want to go back to my doctor cause he looks at me like I'm making it up! Please could you give me suggestions of things to test or possible things it could be or if you've heard of this condition before. In regards to my diet, I don't eat particularly well. Usually chicken, potatos and veg. But then chips most days. I usually have a mad night out most weeks too. Don't get me wrong, alot of people eat worse, but I dont eat like, steamed veg and fish everyday if you get what I mean! Please help!
