Fever allergys dust mites

Patient

Q: My son has an allergy to dust mites can he get a fever due to this allergy

Doctor

A:   Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Allergies irrespective of the allergen or cause can lead to sneezing, followed by post-natal drip and cough as well. Fever is a rare possibility. Fever can happen due to secondary infection, it is a possibility.
Consider consulting a doctor for an examination and relevant medication, as in cases of secondary infections antibiotics are needed.
Hope this helped.
Regards,
