Fibroid on fifth month

Patient : Hi, my wife is on her 5th month of pregnancy. After an ultrasound scan examination, we realized that a fibroid of 6cm in height exists. Should we worry about that? Are there any measures to take? How big that could be? Also, our doctor said that there is a chance to go for a cesarean section where in that case there is a small probability of loosing a lot of blood and therefore blood transfusion would be necessary. We do not want to go for that scenario. What are the options for us?
