Patient : Please explain findings of Xray of both knees after a few falls.
Linear calcification projeced close to the right medial supracondylar ridge implies previous avulsion of the origin of the medial collateral ligament. There is moderate symmetrical loss of articular cartilage in both medial compartments with associated osteophytes and less severe degenerative change in the lateral and patellofemoral compartments bilaterally. There are small effusions in both knees with no suspicion of an opaque intra-articular loose body on either side.
