Patient : I had an accident when I was a boy that resulted in completely chopping off the top phalanx of my right index finger. It was reattached but I was left with the remnants of my fingernail and it sort of looks like a cross between a cashew nut and a claw. Are there any medical procedures I can get to either remove the nail completely or reshape it so it looks like it once did? Thanks.
