Flu causing pus pocket on tonsil?

Patient : Hello i am 20yrs old and i have never had the flu before. 4days ago i awoke feeling very fatigue, and had a severe headache. I keep my home very warm so i knew i had a fever so i went to the doc. He never gave me a diagnoses he perscribed antibods and ib profen for fever yesterday my legs began to get very weak and hurt really bad when i walk so i am assuming its the flu so i kno antibods wont work for the flu so i stopped them. I woke this morning with a slightly sore throut and when i looked in the mirror it looks to be a pus pocket on my tonsils fearful this may be the begining of strep i am considering continuing the antibods. Any advise as to what this is? Please help
