Fourty six yr old HIP FRACTURE healing time

Patient

Q: I am a 46 year old female with a femoral neck fracture (hip) I loped the head off the femur falling from a fence into an old cemetery onto an iron support rod. Everything i look up is related to elderly hip fractures, at 6 weeks I had no bone joining yet, I did range of motion exercises to excess, and have to go back at 10 weeks, 1.5 more weeks. I am still non-weight bearing. I am still having pain in the groin, I know I loosened the screws at 6 weeks an they have backed out some, I am being more caution on this last 4 weeks only moving to wheelchair, onto walker or crutches to go to bed or bathroom, is there a TIMELINE of when my ortho may just decide to do a hip replacement and stop waiting for healing?...I mean if it doesnt show any joining at 10 week or 12 weeks could it still join after that? whats the rule of bone healing here?
