Getting cramps in my leg so often

Q: Ok so I've dealt with this problem for a couple of years. I get cramps so often. Most of the time it happens while I'm sleeping. Usually in both of my legs. And the inner side of my feets. The thing is it lasts for TWO DAYS sometimes. I can't even get out of bed. I've serached a lot about it and tried massage but it never gets better. And apparently the season doesn't matter. The winter here in Toronto is extremely cold but it happens to me through the whole season.. And it's not because of birth control pills either. (I don't take any other medicine.)I hope you give me some advise or what exactly cause the problem.. Thanks
