Patient : I have two swollen glands right next to each other on the back left side of my neck, they are little bit larger that a pea, more like the rubber balls in a vending machine. They have been there for 5 days and the second did not come until the third day. My neck and back feel stiff, I've had off and on fever, and my muscles are sore. Those started more on the fourth day. I've been taking ibuprofen, drinking lots of water, and sleeping more but it hasn't helped. The glands are tender and give me headaches, worse if I touch them. Should I be concerned and see a doctor, or should I wait it out?
