Patient : My daughter in law, who is very thin has been complaining of blurry vision, being thirsty, she is pale and very tired. Friday evening, she checked her glucose levels on my husbands' meter and they were 488, thinking this was a mistake we rechecked them and it read 502. Saturday evening she check and they were 607, this morning without, food and
or drink they were 366. She does not have medical insurance- should she go to the Emergency Room, or just try to local clinic and if so, what should she tell them?
